The Modesty Block is a one-piece fitting designed for quick, clean, and secure panel joining. It offers a simple solution for connecting furniture components while keeping the overall appearance neat. Because it is compact and efficient, it works well in cabinets, wardrobes, shelving, and general furniture assembly.
This block measures 35mm in length and 13mm in height. These dimensions make it suitable for tight or concealed areas where a small but dependable fixing is required. It suits 3.5 x 25mm countersunk screws, ensuring a firm grip and a smooth, flush fit. This compatibility also makes installation straightforward, even for quick repairs or on-site adjustments.
The Modesty Block is made from durable plastic. This material keeps it lightweight, strong, and resistant to wear. Additionally, it prevents rust and corrosion, making it a reliable choice for long-term use in kitchens, bathrooms, and other moisture-prone areas. The smooth surface also prevents panel marking, which helps maintain a clean finish throughout your project.
A key feature is the hidden screw design. Once installed, the screw sits inside the block, giving the joint a tidy and professional look. This makes it ideal for visible panel connections where exposed fixings would interrupt the design.
Furthermore, the block installs quickly. It aligns easily and requires minimal tools, making it suitable for both DIY users and trade professionals. Overall, the Modesty Block is a practical, discreet, and versatile fixing that delivers strong support while keeping furniture looking clean and well-finished.
